I just complete to replace the membrane switch Panel , thanks to Paul very detailed Photo instructions , and so my Polaris model 301420 still play like new !!! But probably because is has bend not working for 5/6 years something happens and the panel slider from Master Volume to the assignable control when moved works only 40% . The sliders that has yo be in the centre working position works only when moved down , but not moved up. May someone help me ??? |
Lando, I'll revise...sorry the long explanation. lol. In short, I'm pretty sure you'll get parameter feedback from the Polaris though I'm not 100% certain. ~Ryan To: chromapolaris@yahoogroups.com From: ryanfreer77@... I've never used a BCR2000 specifically, but like most other MIDI controllers it should transmit & receive the correct data once its knobs have been assigned. There are standards in MIDI, and all parameters usually have no more than 128 values max (0 through 127, or 1 trough 128). For instance...pull the Filter frequency cutoff slider all the way down...the current value is at 0. Pull it all the way up, and your value is now at 127. Parameters can have as few as 2 values if what you're controlling is a simple on/off switch, and others may have more, but not more than 128. Some controls, like bipolar faders, have values set between -64 to +63. But again, that's 128 steps to sweep through. The Polaris can send this data to a computer sequencer to record it, or to another Polaris to control its faders, etc. MIDI controllers receive this data too, so wherever a current value is, the LEDs should show it on the BCR2000. ~Ryan To: chromapolaris@yahoogroups.com From: no_reply@yahoogroups.com Date: Wed, 12 Dec 2012 11:04:11 +0000 Subject: [chromapolaris] Re: Polaris & BCR2000 Ryan, will the LED indicators on the BCR2000 jump to the appropriate parameter values when you are going through the stored programs on your Polaris (this would be called parameter feedback) ? I am asking this as I am contemplating getting a BCR2000 myself. Thanks Lando --- In chromapolaris@yahoogroups.com, Ryan Freer <ryanfreer77@...> wrote: |
