Yes.

If the number of old EPROMs and new EPROMs are the same - then you just
take out the old ones, and put in the new ones (and so don't need to
follow step 4 in the earlier noted procedure - which is a jumper change
to tell the Polaris to handle 2 chips instead of 4).
