Something similar happened to mine. I replaced the batteries, trimmed back the ribbon wires so they responded, and did a hard reset which erased all the sounds and brought it back to it's basics. I then reloaded the sound banks from the Rhodes Chroma site. It has worked like a gem for 3 years now -Karl Sent from Yahoo! Mail on Android |
Chances are your ribbon cables have gone (what lets all buttons and sliders communicate with the CPU). You can fix (if you're handy), or purchase replacements for about $200 from a guy on this list who's name I eluding me at the moment (but I'm sure he'll chime in promptly). I recommend the replacements - they'll prolong the life of your Polaris greatly. If you want to try the fix let me know and I'll send you a link to a video on how to do it. Involves some basic soldering, etc. Sent from my iPhone
