Hello:
Thank you David & Bob:
I have the same situation as Jordi. I have downloaded MIDI-OX and then the sys-x files. They were saved easily with MIDI-OX. I have a USB to MIDI converter. I just don't know how instruct the Polaris to receive the sys-x files through MIDI. I have been reading the user's manual & a little of the service manual. I have learned ALOT about electronic music & HEX systems because of the manuals, but have yet to see the instructions for loading the sys-x files from the computer to the Polaris.
I will continue to read the manuals, but I really need to load the sounds as soon as possible. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance and have a good day.
Thomas

The first is to still use the 'cassette' method. To do so, you don't
actually need the original cassette cable, nor do you actually have to
use the 'cassette'.
For the connection, you can use the 1/4" 'sync' jacks on the Polaris.
For the source, you can use a .wav file (or similar) played back to the
Polaris.
The use of the 'SYNC' jacks for cassette operations is discussed in the
Polaris user's manual - xref page 64 of:

The .wav files for the factory sets/sequences are available on-line
here:

The second option is to use MIDI sysex to load the patches. The sysex
version of the patches are also available here:
