Subject: Thanks

Dear Frank,

Many thanks for that info. I got a Polaris via Auction...and not only doesn't it tune...but the left 1/3 of sliders/buttons don't work. The info you shared lends encouragement that the problems might be fixable/programmable via MIDI/MIDI Quest.

   Appreciating it,

Hi,

I'm have the same issue you have only the sliders are working. I
use Midiquest XL 10. Their editor is OK. There's a "front panel"
emulation window within the editor, which I was able to use to perform
the manual tuning function.

into selling it when I  moved far away. Had been lusting for a
Polaris; and finally snagged one (used) from an Auction site. Problem:
the whole left side has non-functioning/ frozen membrane
buttons/sliders- -including the 'All tune' function. (No, the auction
seller never even HINTED at these problems: arghh....) So, the thing's
a little out of tune; and without 'all tune', looks like it might STAY
that way....

can tune & proigram using Sound Quest (the MIDI
editor/librarian) ...but gosh darn, would like to be able to push
membrane switches & sliders on the left side.
