Sorry there is no chance that the Schaltwerk/Regelwerk will be available in
the future. The main reason is that there are many parts used that are not
ROHS compatible and/or even no longer available (e.g. the main processor
SAB80C537 is not available in a ROHS-compatible version and has been
discontinued). It would require a complete hard- and software design with a
new main processor. Because of the poor sales it does not make sense to
redesign the Schaltwerk (to speak the truth we probably did not earn
anything with the Schaltwerk because of the high development costs and the
not satisfying sales).
And the opinions about Schaltwerk are quite different. Many users love the
device but there are even some unsatisfied customers as they wanted to have
features that are not possible with the hardware used in the device.
Anyway - I don't think that we will develop a successor of Schaltwerk
because of the experiences in the past but will focus on new A-100 modules.
