hello all,
as promised, here are the first sound examples created with a
4096 stages version of the forthcoming a188/1 bbd module.
the basic audio paths are the same as in the former examples:
vco -> vca -> bbd -> out
vco -> vca -> bbd -> vcf -> out
the vco is an a110, still playing the same 16 note sequence.
the waveform is triangle. the vca is an a131, controlled
by an a143/2 adsr envelope.
1.
this is the vca output signal, which is used as audio input
for the a188/1 in the following examples.

2.
16 step sequence modulates the delay time (the same sequence
as in the examples for the 256/512 stages versions).
first you hear the pure bbd output, then a 48 db lowpass-filtered
version (a108) without the clock-noise.

3.
delay time is controlled by an a149/1. as above, first you
hear the pure bbd output, then a 48 db lowpass-filtered
version (a108) without clock-noise.

4.
now some feedback loops :-)
the bbd clock runs at a fixed frequency of around 12,5 khz,
resulting in a delay time of approximately 325 ms.
the bbd output is filtered with a 48db lowpass filter (a108)
to get rid of the clock noise. an a127 triple bandpass filter
is patched into the feedback loop of the a188/1.

file size: 306 kb.
5.
the bbd clock runs at a fixed frequency of around 10 khz,
resulting in a delay time of approximately 410 ms.
the bbd output is filtered with a 48db lowpass filter (a108)
to kill the clock noise. an a122 lowpass vcf is patched into
the feedback loop of the a188/1. the a122 cutoff frequency is
modulated by an a147 lfo, while the a122 resonance is modulated
by an adsr envelope.

file size: 223 kb.
6.
the bbd clock runs at a fixed frequency of around 30 khz,
resulting in a delay time of approximately 135 ms.
no clock filter is used here, you hear the pure bbd output.
an a106/1 xtreme vcf (lowpass) is patched into the feedback loop
of the a188/1. the a106/1 cutoff is varied by an a147 lfo
and pitch cv (keytracking).
