Robert,
I ask you to look at our A-100 DIY page. Here you find a simple "Manual
Gate" circuit. "+" (=+12V) and GND can be taken from the A-100 bus. You
could use e.g. a 4HP blind panel as an "interface" to your button box. A 16
pin connector connected to the A-100 bus with a flat cable is used to pick
up GND and +12V from the A-100 power supply. The gate sockets can be mounted
to the drilled 4HP panel. The 470 resistors can be soldered directly to the
sockets. A multipin socket (e.g. 5 pin DIN socket as used for Midi) can be
used for the connection to the box that contains the buttons.
The A-100 monster suitcases (single version = equivalent to 4 A-100 standard
frames or double version = equivalent to 8 A-100 standard frames) are now
available. Special versions with other dimensions upon request (but these
are more expensive because of the non-recurring initial charges).
