Hi all,
I'm looking into designing and building a nice wooden case for my synth and I'm
interested in hearing from anyone who has already done this. Does anyone out there have
designs or experience, particularly for how to attach the modules (I'd like to avoid the
wooden strip method). I have built a 15U 19" rack-mounted case already with PSU and I'll
be reusing the strips and other parts. I'd also like to avoid simply bolting a bunch of 19"
cases into a wooden box. I have in mind a 168HP, 15U case, with the 3 top rows being
vertical, the 2 bottom rows being slanted with power plumbed into the case. In other
words, similar to the Analogue Systems RS8500 case.
Any ideas and advice gratefully received.
