I have the 1024 (1 second) which does a very nice job
of chorus and flange effects. Also good for boingy echo
sounds, but not at higher delay times then around
150 milliseconds.
After that you begin to hear the clock noise,
that means you must filter it out with a low pass
filter with a sharp slope. From what I've been told
you should be able to get long delay times with no clock
noise up to maybe 2 seconds with the 4096 stage.
Not sure if the 4096 does as good a job with tight
modulated sounds. My 2 cents......
