i think that the 1024 stages version is a good allrounder.
it is not that suitable for longer delays, because you will
hear the clock noise when the delay time gets bigger than 50 ms.
in this case you have to use a lowpass filter at the bbd output
to remove the clock noise (unless you want that noise to
be audible).
