Strange ! If you have a digital multimeter available I'd recommend to
measure the resistance between the contact of the first gate socket and the
contacts of the gate sockets #2, #3 and #4 (use the main contacts, not the
switching contacts, for details please refer to the A-100 DIY page). The
resistance has to be close to zero (the display should read less than ~ 1
Ohm). If this is OK apply a permanent gate signal (+5V or mroe) to the first
gate socket and measure the gate voltages at the gate sockets #2, #3 and #4
(again the main contacts, not the switchiong contacts).
