Allan Hall did a lot of this kind of stuff (you still about allan ; )
But heres a few comments -
If youre keeping the layout the same (i assume you have to because of the pcb mounted components) then why not just keep the metalwork also
Youll need to remove the old ink. Some solvent or other will do, im sure.
Then you need to reapply the legend. If you really want to go to town, then screen print them (or get them screened) but a far cheaper approach is to use something like lasertran.
But, yes, youll still need your design. As Dieter said, the corel draw files are availible. You could start with these...
The knobs are, i think Rean, but you can only get black ones 'off the shelf' You can spray them easy enough, and then paint on the black line. (thanks again to Allan for telling me all this)
