For prototypes we use a standard laserprinter (HP) to print the front panel
layout to a self adhesive transparent foil available in office supply shops.
Then the foil is trimmed to the right size and glued to the front panel. The
required holes in the foil (for potentiometers, sockets, switches and so on)
are cutted with a scalpel.
