I don't agree with you on this, there where bugs in
the Schaltwerk.
To name a few:
When it's being used as a slave the dinsync out isn't
stable
When switching patterns you can hear a time correction
on the first beat.

I've had contact with doepfer about the faults and
they told me it where unsolvabel problems which didn't
occur with every schaltwerk but they had the same
complaint from other customers.

Just read the faq on doepfer own site and you can find
more comments.
