Hi Kaali,
My A-100 is an older BS-1 + an extra G3 frame with a few more modules. In
the older systems the PSU was only 650mA, so my guess is that it's quite
safe to supply power to a few more modules than what are in a BS-1 or 2. At
any rate, you can use the spreadsheet available from the doepfer site to
calculate the total power consumption of the modules you are planning on
getting - I think it has the modules for a BS 1 or two preselected so that
all you need to do is select the extra modules you are planning on getting.
If you are planning on building your own case to house the synth you should
know that you can buy the PSU and bus boards separately, thus saving some of
the price of a G6 frame.
Kind regards,
Silas
