Hi all,
I have a new A--112 Sampler that I'm having trouble with and although
I think its probably faulty I thought that I'd see whether any other
users have experienced the issue I'm experiencing.
I have a TR-606 plugged into the audio input and the audio output is
plugged into a mixer. I have the top switch set to S1 (bank 1), the
second switch set to 'REC' (record) and the third switch set
to 'Normal' (centre position). I can monitor the output of the 606
through the module with these settings and if I adjust the 'tune' pot
it audibly alters the sampling frequency as one would expect. I then
press the 'trig' button for a second to sample some of the 606
output. The LED lights as one would expect. Then if I switch the
second switch from 'REC' to 'PLAY' and press the 'trig' button again
to listen to my sample I hear nothing but a loud click.
I've tried gating the module with a Wiard joystick instead of using
the trigger button, I've tried a different audio source, applied CV
to the pitch CV in, changed all the switches and generally tried
every permutation of possible permutations to get some noise out of
the thing. The only noise that emanates is some strage noise that
sometimes appears in 'REC' mode when nothing is plugged into the
audio input.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I'd be most appreciative.
Cheers
Simon
