The fix is on the doepfer website... i dont know the link off by heart, but
its not hard to find. a-100 faq or somthing

i've got an early A100 Basic 1 with the bad jacks, i just wiggle them a bit
when they flake out...is there any type of simple fix, short of replacing

Cliff sockets S6PC - have changed to a revised version of the Cliff sockets
many years ago (I think it was in 2001). Especially Bob Williams of Analogue
Systems/UK and I intervened at Cliff to obtain sockets with better contacts
(stronger spring). As far as I know the contact problems have been solved
since the revised Cliff sockets are in use - at least we had no more
complaints since that time.
