I was there, to be honest it was too busy in the Doepfer Booth (because of the combination with some other companies with modular synthesizers and of cours Big Briar with Mr Moog himself) and I haven't had the chance to play with the doepfer system myself
there was a touch sensitive pad-keyboard and some kind of press-sensitive ribbon controller, 2 racks filled up with modules including a (custom built ) oscilloscope, a space-ball interface (mouseball interface ), lot of joysticks, oscillators, filters and other modules, a complete vocoder, trautonium modules and lots more
I noticed that someone else got a demonstration of the ribbon controller, patched through the quantiser and it worked very good, but the looks were awfull (probably a prototype) with a ribbon inside an aluminium case
It all looked very interesting but my attention was taken by the other companies in the booth, I fiddled around with the minimoog voyager, the moogerfoogers, I actually met mr Moog (..), analog solutions was there with the new russian looking (but UK manufactured) black synthesizer, consisting of AS modules in one case, it had 2 oscillators, a very good filter, a 8 bit sample playback oscillator, a pin-based patch matrix (!) and lot of other interesting features (price 1700 euros) and can be integrated in a doepfer system, also the technosaurus was there and all other kinds of interesting 'toys'
I had a good time over there !
