The only idea I still have is a poor or broken contact of the clock input
socket. Otherwise you have to send back the module for repair. And be sure
(though I already mentioned that) that the module is not in the CV
controlled mode. In this case the step position is controlled by the CV of
the first step control+CV and the clock input does not work in the usual
way, i.e. not clock triggered step advance.
