I think a USB controller device would be cool. It would default to
read a typical mouse. A default setup that would read a standard
Microsoft compatible 2-button/scroll wheel mouse (user supplied). The
module would output CV for relative X-Y increasing or decreasing with
movement. The buttons would gibe gates, and the scroll wheel would do
a relative CV also. If you found a touch pad that emulated a mouse -I
know I have seen them - you could use that. Trackballs that "looked"
like mice to a standard computer would also work. I think this could
be a great performance module.
