yes! i guess the pro-one voltage wasnt the problem - the ribbon had
come dislodged from the back coincidentally at the same time i hooked
it up to the the pro-one - so i had falsely assumed that was the
problem. reinsterted the ribbon cable and now its back to normal! great!
