I think it's a better (because much cheaper) solution to leave the second
A-100G6 as it is and add only the parts needed for the G3 addition to the
first G6, i.e. an empty 3U frame (available from ProMa), a back panel
A-100B84 and a bus board (both available from us as spare parts).

Provided that your A-100G6 are equipped with A-100PSU2 the supply of the
expanded G6 should be sufficient for the third bus board if not too many
power consuming modules are installed. The bottom cover of the existing
A-100G6 has to be moved to the bottom of the new G3 and the side plates of
both frames (6U + 3U) should be fixed together with an additional plate
unless the G6 and G3 are not permanently mounted into a flightcase or
another enclosure. I recommend these mods only if you are experienced with
electronics (mainly because of the mains voltage at the power supply and
mains inlet) and mechanics because of the required metal work.
