Its quite simple: It would require additional cabling[*]. Since one
clearly needs the offset up to 99% at a point in the patch where mixing
of several CVs is usually done, it the closest thought is to include the
function in a mixer.

[*]And cabling does not mean only: one additional cable. Third combined
Buchla/Moog/Murphey-law says that this additional offset module will be
on the most distant corner of your modular system, the cables will hide
the most sensitive modulation amout knob of the whole patch and while
cabling the offset module you will unintentionally loosen another two
cables... ;-)
