Hadn't considered getting the A-129-3 for this purpose. It suits my needs
quite satisfactorily (except I'm not sure if I get exactly 1.00 x
amplification is I turn the attenuator knob all the way to the right) so I'm
tempted to get one. Also, I'm very well aware that between the members of
this list we can probably come up with a thousand designs for modules that
would work perfectly for some particular purpose, but most of them would
probably only be sold in *very* limited quantities (like one or two to
whoever came up with the idea).
Also, my ideas for this module should prove fairly simple to implement, so
it's probably a good DIY project. I will therefore be tempted to vote no to
my own suggestion when the poll comes up.
