not sure what you mean, but there is no such thing as negative resistance - an expression
pedal goes from 0 ohms to whatever its maximum is.

nice idea. the problem with most modern pedals though, is that the switch is electronic -
you close the contact once to turn it on, and close it again to turn it off. so sequencing this
on and off may be a little counterintuitive. however, back to the point, you can do this in a
number of ways. you could use the a150 voltage controlled switch with one input shorted
and one simply unconnected (haven't got one here, so that's open to correction).
