The new version of the S&H module A-148 has two jumpers available that are
used to choose between S&H (sample and hold) or T&H (track&hold) for each
sub-unit. For the upper sub-unit the left position of the jumper JP2 stands
for S&H, the right for T&H. For the lower sub-unit the lower position of the
jumper JP3 stands for S&H, the upper for T&H.
In T&H mode the output signal follows the input signal while the trigger
input is "high". As soon as the trigger input turns to "low" the last
voltage is stored. The factory setting is S&H for the upper device and T&H
for the lower device. In addition the complete A-100 voltage
range -12...+12V can be processed by the new version of the A-148 (no longer
limited to -8...+8V as for the previous version).
