would it not be better to use a saw wave from the lfo putting out, for
example, 8ths, going into a comparator which then produces the even
numbered 16ths (triggers) just set the comparator to output a
trigger at about the half-way amplitude of the decreasing saw slope,
and then adjust to your shuffly tastes. this has a major advantage in
keeping the shuffle feel constant whie you adjust tempo - a trigger
delay would have to be adjusted along with the tempo. i'm not sure
that adjusting trigger lengths is much use with drum sounds that are
going to need envelopes anyway.
