I think the first configuration was better than the "lot of basics
approach..." For the reason that it will produce lots of interessting
timbres and thus he will have much fun and then expand from there. But I
agree on one point there should be one multimode filter per voice so change
it to two times A108(which at the point seems to be the best filter). Cut
the lowpass they are in the multimode anyway, If you feel like it throw in a
VCADSR and an extra LFO and sequential switch(cheap anyway).
Actually as you all know I think it is better to have ONE perfect voice
setup than a 2 or more soso voices configuration from the start. Then you
can add a second with what you have learned it the fist. Or you endup like
me with just one voice and sample it.
