When mounting a Doepfer bus board in a "generic" eurorack case I came upon
a similar problem (I think Doepfer uses individual nuts for mounting bus
boards whereas this case came with a rail). I snapped the rail in halves,
then removed a hole or two more and now it all fits. Whether you would do
that with rails for module mounting is a different matter, though, as you
may want to have some flexibility in rearranging your modules and breaking
the rails in halves may result in some trouble when reorganizing later.
