Nice piece of software - thanks!
The save/load option is definitely a good idea, in my opinion much more
important than collision detection (which would actually make it harder to
move modules around when space becomes crowded) and drag and drop (may be
faster to work with, but cursor keys work just fine). An "export to jpeg"
option would be nice especially for those on smaller screens but a
screendump (ALT+PrtScr) and paste in your fav image editor will do - you can
always make two and glue them together if everything can't fit in one go.
One thing I noticed is that the holes for mounting screws in the rails don't
really fit - not really important but it would look nice ;)
It would be nice to be able to set the number of rows (within reasonable
limits of course). Not really a problem for me as I have exactly four, but
still... I don't know if you can resize a flash app "on the fly" so it might
not really be feasible.
If you add modules of other brands please consider adding the ASol/ASys
modules also if it's not too much hassle to get around the unequal placement
of the mounting holes. For DIY'ers an option to make custom size blanks and
give them a text description would be nice.
I just got the idea that instead of collision detection (which as I wrote
above would sometimes get in the way) an option to detect and mark
overlapping modules would be nice.
OK, enough feature requests, thank you again for taking the time to put this
juicy piece of software together.
