The emphasis of the A-108 is rather simple: nothing but a feedback from the
48dB output to the input via the switching socket labelled "Feedback" and
the attenuator "Emph.". Maybe the switching socket causes a problem. To find
this out patch the 48dB output to the Feedback socket (this connection is
normally active without external patch). If this does not help the module
has to be sent in for repair. Pay attention that a high (distorted) input
level may "overwrite" the feedback. Try to reduce the input level to find
out if then the emphasis occurs.

These are standard electronic parts used e.g. in computers, hard disks or
other equipment. You only have to pay attention that the jumpers have 2.54
mm grid (1/10"). The are cheap (~ 10 cent). We could add a bag of jumpers
for free to our next shipment to Analogue Haven (I assume that you ordered
the modules from Analogue Haven).

P.S. Next week I'm not in the office. No comments/response/answers to group
