For more headroom one would need a higher supply voltage. Currently the max.
output range is about -10...+10V due to the +/-12V supply voltage. If you
add e.g. four signals with -4...+4V each and full amplification distortion
will occur as you would need an output range of -16V...+16V. The only
solution (without the need of another supply) is to attenuate each input
signal before it is mixed (one could e.g. add kind of gain controls as
used in audio mixers.

Module.
maybe, the A-188-9 will be probably ripped up to several different modules
as different controls are needed for different applications.

It's not the front panel only but a completely different circuit as the
existing circuit does not feature voltage control.
How about a poll We could develop such a module as it's nothing but four
modified A-141 (reduced to A+D) built into one module.

I don't think that we will redesign the A-113. The sales are very poor and
we think to stop the production of this module if the modules in stock are
sold out.
> - Precision adder with a big octave switch. Could be add-on to A-185-2.
I think that could be a simple DIY project (nothing but a big switch wired
to the A-185-2)
> - 4HP dual noise source with blue, white and pink noise outputs.
possible, but I don't see a need for such a module. Two A-118 could do this
job too and most users already have at least one A-118.
> - Simple quad low pass gate.
Would be no problem if there are sufficient inquiries.
> - Precision rectifier/clipper. Could be sub-function of some module.
That's sub-function of the A-136 and A-116 (even with voltage controlled
clipping for the A-116).
> - An excellent Milton style analogue 16-step sequencer - perhaps 6U or
3U+3U!
EAR plans such a sequencer, and our planned keyboard/sequencer controller
may offer some of your suggestions.

The dynamic VCO A-111-2 will have this feature (provided that it will be
released)
