i hate to bring up old issues. the situation here is like having
warts on your skin, if you don't treat them properly with medication
they won't go away by themselves. so a good way to end this issue is
to actually solve the problem and not sweep it under the rug all time
and hope it disappears. i understand your position, but to the people
who own them it is a problem, save a few who like to live in a 16th
note world. it has been 4 years of we have an upgrade coming to
placate the people who do want to get on with 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and whole
notes in their musicmaking and a few more functions and proper sync.
all you you have to do is read the posts on this site and the Doepfer
ez board forum to understand that it is a problem that needs a
solution. people are letting go of their machines at a loss to recoup
some of their money invested in these machines. the front panels are
gorgeous, just not gorgeous to use and are severely under powered in
today's world of electronic components.
