That sounds interesting ! What would be the part played by MAXMSP
realtime control of moogerfoogerz, realtime audio process

Can't you do this with the 16 chan mixer, aux sends to MF and direct
outs to MAXMSP or recording station, mute and stuff... Do you already
know what mixer you'll be working with
If you need realtime control of the send levels with MAXMSP then you
should have a look to A135 quad CV mixer (and maybe A144, they make
good combo). It has only 4 I/O so maybe you'll need a second one for
the sax or a A131 VCA. Like Dieter said, A138d should also interest
you. Maybe VC panning can be interesting too, so you try A134...
Have a look to the A119 envelope follower too that generates CV and
gate from the envelope lvl of the audio input. MF251 has LFO but not
VClfo (A147) neither ADSR (A140). Maybe ribbon controler (A198),
joystick (A174), theremin (A178) can be cool for you to generate CV or
for the musicians.

Then, the more outputs, the better... My advise would be : try to find
a MCV24 (discontinued) but maybe MCV4 is enough, depends on what you
precisely need to do...
Hope that helps !
Max.
