The bus cable has to be connected to the 10 pin male connector labelled
"ST1" on the control board (i.e. the board with the Start/Stop/Reset
buttons). A 10-pin cable with 10/16 pin female connector has to be used. The
red wire has to be aligned to bottom (i.e. the side of the pin header where
"ST1" is printed on the pcb).
ST2 is the connector for the cable that leads to the potentiometer and
trigger boards.
