Dear members,
it seems that there were again problems between December 28, 2007 and
January 03, 2008 with the messages I receive from the group. During this
time I did not receive any messages and discovered this today as Anton
reclaimed the missing answer to his message. The problem always appears if I
install an autoresponder for my email account (in this case because of our
Christmas holidays) as Yahoo then stops the forwarding of messages after a
while.
Best wishes
Dieter Doepfer
Here is my response to Anton's lost message:

As the A-164-1 is a very simple module we asked our manufacturer to test the
module and we did not test it again in our company. Maybe this was a wrong
decision. We'll have an eye to the other A-164-1 we still have in stock and
test them before they leave the company. Please return the A-164-1 for
replacement. I'd like to have the module back so that I can hand it over to
our manufacturer and ask for a statement.

Concerning the bus connection: the main problem is that the user's manual is
not yet ready. Of course we will point out that the bus jumper of the
A-185-2 has to be removed if another module is on the same bus board that
applies CV to the bus. In principle the notes of the A-185-1 are valid also
for the A-185-2. I'll add a note to the A-185-2 info page until the A-185-2
manual is ready.
