Thanks for the replies on this Dieter, some interesting options for
me to follow up. I'm looking mainly for a non-midi solution (guess I
just like to make life harder!). Something else I'm going to
investigate is the Morton Subotnick technique of using envelope
detectors to generate CVs from recorded audio material. (at least
this is what I think he did). I Just received an A-119 external
input module and will try recording some basic audio tones with
increasing and decreasing volumes which I can route through the a-
119, which should then follow the envelopes of these recordings and
output corresponding CVs. If I like the results, I may get some more
a-119s to use with my multitrack recorder. My multitrack recorder
would then become my CV sequencer!
