Hello group,
this is my last comment before I leave for NAMM:
We are about to try another approach to the TKB. Our first two prototypes
(which used two different working principles) seemed to work at first glance
(some of you will have tried them at NAMM, Frankfurt or workshops). But we
recognized that they do not work under all circumstances, e.g. with changing
humidity or temperature, indoor/outdoor, 50/60Hz environment, moist/dry
fingers, detecting problems if many of the sensors are touched at the same
time ....). That is why the TKB has not been released so far. We are about
to try a completely new technology that hopefully will compensate all these
influences. If we are successful the TKB will released still this year. But
I cannot promise anything! The TKB has to work perfect under all
circumstances. Otherwise we will not release it.
Best wishes
Dieter Doepfer
