Just double check your transformer to see that it meets the
requirements. According to the DIY page, for DIY Kit #1 to supply
1200mA you need a 15V/2.5A transformer. If you have a 1A transformer,
it will only be good for supplying 500mA to your modules.
Assuming you have the right transformer and your wiring is 100%
correct, it is possible that you do actually need a bigger fuse for
1200mA operation. I'm not familiar with the DIY PSU circuits and am
only guessing here so this would need to be confirmed by Dieter when
he gets back from NAMM but, given that KIT #2 uses 500mA fuses and is
capable of supplying a maximum of 500mA, then I suspect that the same
principle may apply to KIT #1.
Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any documentation regarding
fuses for Kit #1. Maybe Dieter can have the fuse ratings for the DIY
kits could be added to the DIY page or the PDF manual
