Hi Ross,
I have to correct my advice: Timothy Stichcombe explained correctly,
that the summing point at pin2 of IC1 is not useful. You must use the
output of the summing op amp. The voltage will read inverted here
(increasing the tune pot, will lower the measured voltage), but you
don't have to care for, because you have to set it to zero anyway.
