Polarizers are a good idea. But I don't know what you mean with "normalled
cv inputs". Controlling all CV inputs with the same signal does not make
much sense for this module.

Without the offset control you will not be able to cover the full phase
shift range with a unipolar signal (like the A-143-1). With a bipolar signal
(e.g. A-143-3) the full range is covered as with zero CV the phase shift is
in the center position.
