in my case, the need for a universal sensor adaptor is maybe more to
use it with the Pocket Electronics than in a the A100 but not
exclusivelly, so a module form wouldn't be so creazy.
i often liked to experiment with strange sensors like for example
linear hall effect sensors to control voltages with magnets or other
many sensors that needed specific voltage adaptation to be fitted on
a normalized vc/trig/gate circuit.
the voltage variation given by such linear hall sensor is very
little, let say for example it goes from 1.3v minimum to 1.7volt
maximum. i'd like to be able to convert that variation into a 0v to
5v variation to conect it to the PE without having to build a
specific circuitry for it.
the ICUBE from Infusion Systems allows to preciselly control all the
voltages going out and in from the interface to and from the sensors,
i including the linearity, gain, atenuation, etc.
i wonder if such kind of adaptor would be possible as a standalone
box or a module to use it with the PE and the A-100.
