think it is of general interest:

The sampling is very early-eighties like. What I did was sample very low
noises and play them on high pitch as percussive addons for analog
sequencer sounds. Similar to what the Roland D50 is using the short
samples. (To make it A100 relevant: this could be done with a A-112)
Did you get it, that you can overdub, when the delay is in hold modus.
If you now modulate with the CV some very strange sounds can happen.
Something similar works in normal delay mode too.
I always had the CV input connected to the Sequencer (either A-155 or
via MIDI-CV interface to Abelton Live). The change of the Delaytime to
rhytmical sequences is the trick. I recently found, that a lot of the
unconventional rhythms from Spectrasonics are made this way. This is
something one should try with a 2048 or 4096 stage version of the A-188-1.
