For the first prototypes the depth is ~ 70 mm for the lower row. We wanted
to keep the height as low as possible and for 90% of all modules 70 mm is
sufficient. The bus board for the lower row is mounted in the rear area
(i.e. not below the modules).

No. So far we built this case only as special designs.

It stands freely but we will probably add the same threads at the rear side
as for the monster cases. These threads can be used to connect several
devices with a flat bar available in hardware stores.

If you speak about the standard 19" frames: no. They are much too deep and
two 19" frames side by side are about 2x480mm=960mm. But the monster base is
only 890 mm.

In this case the width would be OK. But you need an additional footprint for
the rear part of the frames as the available area on top of the monster base
is only ~ 160 mm.
