Thanks for the messages regarding this, I immediately went back and
tried again, with much better results, still not perfect, but pretty cool.
I do think that the wavetable mode seems very clunky in how they
expect you to input to it, the triggering of the rec is a strange way
to work also...

Completely Concur... this is why i love my modular too...

Personally not sure i agree with that one.. a card reader would be
cool, but simple editting ON THE MODULE (see below) would be my focus,
I REALLY dont want to do ANYTHING on the computer, when Im in Modular
Land!(but it would SELL this module if it had the ability)

Yes, havent figured them out yet, altho ran into that mode once or
twice. by accident...
and the clicks from non zero

NOT a problem... love clicky things
I think a new version, does NOT need to be so different from it as it
stand now (visually) but majorly different in terms of usage.
1. CD Card reader or usb in.
2. Please make it go OUT of modes automatically, this little pulse it
needs once in a while is a hiccup for me, I have to cable something to
it JUST to do this!!!
3. Better quality (goes without saying I guess, 16 bit version of
course!!!)
4. Pitch CV and Wavetable er... jumping CV are both good to leave as
is... no problems!
5. Separate jack for Audio IN
6.ONE addition for me would be to provide a START OFFSET. or "In
point" knob(CV).
OR.. what if you got rid of the wavetable mode altogether (wait wait..
don interupt YET) but changed the WAVE CV IN (plus new knob) to a
START POINT JUMP. This would give you the same possibilities as a wave
table (sequencing the start point of the sample)
Christ!!! If you sampled (or imported) a drum loop, you could use an
analog sequencer to jump about in the loop to fire off different beats
in the loop,(Like the rex player in Reason)
I'm beginning to love my 112, and see its potential, but a new version
is something I may have to design myself and get going as a personal
project, if Doepfer don't get going on it!! ha ha
cheers... Mark
