So do you mean if I want to call up preset 36 I can do it via MIDI
Suppose I want to call up Preset 5, followed by 3, followed by 6,
and so on, Could I put the Program Changes into Logic (for eg) and then
trigger them at the appropriate time to get longer patterns
How do I do it
I am assuming that the MAQ will let me create 30 different patterns of between
1 and 48 steps (if I used all three rows for just note info),
via the presets and then call them up via MIDI so I could automagically
bring up a new pattern, when I want I think I read that the MAQ will
immediately stop the pattern it is currently playing and load the new one
from step one if you call it up from the control panel. That's OK
if I am sequencing the changes from Logic as I'll work around them!
The manual is *very* unclear about selecting a preset via MIDI.

Well, I am going to keep this paragraph, even though it doesn't mean anything
to me yet - until I get the unit that is!
thanks
