hi adam,
it will truly distort when you turn the input knob at
more than the 5 position but,to my ears, the sound of
the new a131 is different, i find it more
harsh,regardless of the position of the input knob...i
don't know why...i prefer the sound of the a132.sorry
but i don't know the difference between soft and hard
clipping.
