Yes, though you'll want to double-check continuity to the appropriate
places before ever powering up a module on this cable, and it couldn't
hurt to mark the cable somehow on the module end so that you don't
accidentally forget that you did this at some point in the future and
fry something. In short, yeah, you could do this, but it greatly
increases the chances that you'll screw something up in the future.
