I would expect that there are Doepfer A-100s enough in the Greater
London Area that you can find someone within a couple of hours driving
distance. And a modular is a big enough investment that I would drive
a couple of hours to make sure I got the model I wanted (I drove
halfway through Denmark and back when I bought mine, well worth
spending a day and a tank of gas on).
